On February 20, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia Johannes Douma.

During the meeting the interlocutors talked about the ratification process of the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement in the Netherlands. The Ambassador has assured that the process goes on according to the inner-state procedures established for the ratification of the inter-state agreements and in this aspect there is no slowing down.

The Committee Chair has informed that the application of the Agreement will begin with its full strength after the final coordination of the road map.

The sides also touched upon the liberalization process of the European Union visas for the citizens of Armenia, on which concerned exchange of thoughts was held.

The sides also referred to the important role of the Armenian community in the Netherlands and the further joint programmes to be implemented.
